The project involves the demolition and renovation of a 2-story commercial building. 鈥� The building was previously used as a Medical Office Building and will be transformed to support the Language and Literacy Academy for Learning. 鈥� The renovation will include the creation of classrooms, offices, and ancillary spaces necessary for the school and its faculty/staff. Key improvements will feature a new fire line with a sprinkler system and modified HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The total floor area includes 10,500 sq. ft. on the first floor, 11,600 sq. ft. on the second floor, and a 3,280 sq. ft. balcony area on the second floor. The project aims to ensure the building meets the academy’s needs while adhering to all relevant construction and safety standards.
